How To Fix Black And White Screen On iPhone (iOS 9 & 10) If you own an iPhone or iPad that is stuck with white background and black text, then here are some simple steps you can take to fix the problem.
This happens with most iPhones after updating their systems and it basically means your device has received a corrupted software update, don’t worry it’s not the end of the world (yet), but there are a few steps you need to take, that I will go into further detail below.
Before all this though, make sure you have your warranty up to date if it’s still valid, as repairing the phone could be easier and cheaper than what it may cost to buy a new one.
If you’re blessed with a warranty then it would be the first thing you should do.
Follow these steps for fast fixing iphone black and white screen problems with simple hacks and tricks.
Step 1: Go to your App Store, then tap on the Updates tab and select Profile (updates) at the top. You can also uninstall updates by tapping “Update All” button that appears when a software update is available or “Uninstall Update” if you want to remove an update from your phone completely.
Step 2: After you have done that just close your App Store and go back to your home screen, then reboot the phone by holding the power and “Home” button until it restarts.
Step 3: Once its up and running again, do not install any updates again. If there were already some on your device before this happened, remove them by repeating step 1.
Step 4: If you are still having problems with your screen after doing all of the steps above, then delete some of your most used apps or anything that consumes a lot of battery power, as they can cause this to happen over time.
If none of the above works for you, then I would suggest taking the device to an authorized service center.

I bought my iPhone 3GS (16 GB) in 2010, and it has started acting up (the power button is stuck sometimes). I was wondering how much it would cost to fix? Reply Delete
It’s always best to ask your local service center. They can give you a more accurate estimate after checking the device and further testing it.

Hi Iván, are you familiar with camera problems on iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, and iPhone 5? My camera does not work on my phone, I can see the arrow which means that it should open but camera is black. Reply Delete
